Power heads Too much power ?
I put 2 1400 powerheads in my 90 gal tank one on opposites sides to give it a swirl. Seems like a lot but it looks like the fish are having a blast or maybe just getting the crap kicked out them. Is this bad or good or maybe just run 1 ?

No matter what you do, you will not replicate the strength of flow they deal with in the wild. 2800 gph is not very much at all for a 90 gallon tank.

A good number is 10 to 15 times flow rate times the tank size. 2250 gph. So your not that far off.

10-15? Never in my tanks. I never go below 50, usually stay about 75.

Im running a little over 100X in my tank. Most tanks are extremely deficient in flow.
