reflo manta ray gold pump

Hi guys,

I need your help to choose a external pressure pumplow in amps to run my emperor aquatics comercial filter on my new 500 gal tank.This reflo pump seems to meet my needs but I have't find any feedback on how quiet and how efficient is it.I want to turn over my water at least 10 times since this is FOWLR.

It's very loud, what EA unit do you have and how much head and flow do you need?

Thanks,sorry for the late reply,I was out of the internet for few days.The pump I'm going to try,will be a lifeguard 14000 quiet one 3000 gal @ 6'. This pump is to my comercial emperor aquatics canister filter.If the pump is not to loud, in that case I may put two together in line to try to get 6000 gal total between them.Looking for pressure pump , low amps, low noise level for my living room.I have been in the hobby for three years, don't know all abreviations and vocabulary, could you be so kind and tell me what EA, stand for.

Lol, EA=emperor aquatics. So that canister filter from EA needs pressure?
