ATI and high end bulbs

Question.....most people recommend ATI bulbs and some others.

The question is .....I realize the fixture plays a big part in the performance of the lighting......ballists...reflectors...etc

but does a cheap fixture benefit from adding only ATI bulbs ????

Would have to say yes.

As an example look at your car lighting, regular halogen bulbs cast a different light to the more expensive ones. Go buy a supermarket brand name 60w bulb and buy a quality named brand bulb, notice the quality of the light.

Physically the bulb is made the same but you come down to purity of the gases in them and that extra 1% purity will make a difference.

Bulbs are just as if not more important than the other components. You could take an ATI Sunpower and make it suck with garbage bulbs.

Quality bulbs can honestly double your light output.
