Really Cloudy NSW...why?

I mixed up two brute trash cans full of new salt water last night with RODI water. It looked clear last night, but when I added it to the sump this morning it was really cloudy, why is that? Now the sump is cloudy, will that go away on its own? My display is brand new, and this is the initial fill, The display is full and just waiting for some of the sand to settle out before I run the system. Thanks in advance for any help.

test the pH and alkalinity. if something has gone awry with the water chemistry those tests will show it.
