Please help ID this. . .
Found a clear/white mass about the size of a quarter. It's spongie, similar to a cotton ball and stays compressed when squeezed. Any ideas? Should it be removed?

Yep, that's a sponge. No need to do anything with it. They'll come and go on their own, and they're good for the tank.

iIt looks like a rock jellyfish , they grow from the live rock when you have good water quality!!!! No problem!!
