standpipe connect to drain pipe?
just checking before i connect my piping, but is the plastic pipe inside the overflow box connected to the drain and not the return pump? im thinking the return pump just connects to the other side which has no pipe at all in it.

Do you have a built in or "ReedReady" or does it have an external HOB overflow?

Does your overflow have 2 holes? If so, you'll need pipes for both. You wouldn't want to put the standpipe on the drain and no pipe on the return, because then the return would just pump into the overflow box and the water would then go right back down to the sump. You will need a pipe coming up from the return pump and directed over the top of the overflow/tank into the tank. Loc-line is often used on the end of the return line to aim the return flow.
