Clean up crew for new 28g nano tank help
Hi,
I am getting ready to add my clean up crew to my brand new JBJ Nano cube 28g tank. It has been running for a few weeks now with live rock and live sand and the values are stabilizing. What do you recommend for a clean up crew for my tank? I would like to have some hermits, snails and maybe a a sea star if possible. I am planning to have a mixed reef setup with 2 clowns and maybe a goby with a pistol shrimp. Which species do you recommend and how many of each? I have looked around and it seems to vary a lot in how many you need, especially when it comes to the snails. Thanks! |

I've got about 12 Nassarius snails, 10 or so nerite snails, and 6 dwarf hermits. I don't recommend the larger variety hermits - scarlets or something - because they get large and become quite strong and can knock over coral frags... I had some and got rid of them swiftly.
29g tank.
