Just got a digital microscope (pics!)

Just took some pictures with this new microscope and felt like sharing! They're all at different magnifications.

An amphipod trying to squeeze between a baffle and my refugium wall. The baffle width is 1/8"

Just got it, so no more just yet. Not reef related ones at least! I can only look at my fuge wall right now as the USB can reach it, but not the main tank.

Yup, I'd like to know, too!! Brand, where/how you got it. Althoough knowing the price would be nice, you don't have to tell us if you are uncomfortable doing so. Looks real cool!!

That crab gets a little scary when you get that up close.

awesome, I want one for christmas. I got a bionic eye for my son for his birthday, but the focus range is very very tiny, so I wasnt able to do all the cool things like what you are doing.

Yeah, I haven't used it a ton yet, but I'm pretty happy with it aside from the awkward stand. If you get this model in particular, be aware that it only has two focal ranges, but the "zoom" feature (moving it closer and farther) helps with that.

Very cool pictures - Thanks for sharing them, I really enjoyed the photos. The close up of the fiddler crab parts clearly illustrate how powerful mantis are.
