Cyano bacteria help???????????
I have been batteling cyano bacteria for the last 2 months .
I have been doing everything from stirring up the top of the sand, adding a sand sifting goby, cuttig lights down from 10 to 8, weekly water changes, and manually removing cyano and turkey basting my rocks. I am in the process now of adding gfo/carbon in a reverse filtration unit powered by a maxi 400 picture shown. A little about my tank, I have a 75G tank with a 29G sump refug. In my sump my drain pipe leads into a filter sock follwed by a protein skimmer, refug in the middle with chaeto, bubble trap filled with carbon sacks, return pump, and a uv sterilizer. I have done tons of research and need help... Would adding the gfo/carbon work and fix my problem or does any one else have any idea? |
