Invasion of the Gorilla Crab

I just started a 60g SW with 60 lbs. of very mature live rock. Over the last two weeks my wife and I have seen numerous creatures coming out of rocks (including aiptasia). Yesterday I found a new creature, and I believe it to be a Gorilla Crab. I want to run the rock under the sink water to flush him out, or possible use a claw of some type. I have been feeding him until I can catch him to keep him off my polyps.

Does anyone have any advice on how to rid my tank of this murderous creature? I would prefer to catch him alive, but I will sacrifice him if necessary.

Ill post pics as soon as I can, and once I catch him ill upload the video!!

I just took the rock out and tweezed mine out. I used those big metal tongs, and just took him out of the hole. I put him in his own little mini tank and few him regularly.

I have a large bullseye mushroom on the back of the rock, but that shouldnt be a problem. I am going to go buy tweezers tomorrow and try that-ill let you know if it works. I hope he is the last...

Use a smooth sided drinking glass, put in a chunk of shrimp, etc after the lights have gone off, and lean it up against the rockwork near where he hides out. Just wait for him to go in after it and pull out the glass.

Caught the little creature. I decided to pull the rock and spear him. This was inhuman but easier than trying to catch him.

Thanks for the advice, I found more aiptasia during this process too. This rock is all problems and low benefit.
