Need help about electicity and my corals

Hi all, so I have a 54 gallon corner bowfront and I run a Current Nova Extreme 6 bulb fixture. Also attached to the bottom I have a ecoxotic stunner strip. Well last night before hitting the hay I unplugged the stunner connection. I usually put my magnifying glass over the two connectors so they can't fall in the water. Well the end that of course goes to the power source fell in. This morning looking in the tank it was obvious my corals have been affected. My Frogspawn is retracted to the heads and the zoas are also retracted. Also my finger coral is white and smooth, not furry like normal. How much juice was released into the tank from the open end of the connector? Anything I can do? There was like no meltdown or anything like I have heard about like lets say a RIO powerhead. Seems just the water and the connector released some juice. Two anenome's are fne as well as the fish, 6 in total. Anyone have this happen and is there a course of action, Going to need to be more careful. The frogspawn has started to open some and the tree coral doing better..

You will want to do a water change and run some treated poly pad you purchase from the fish store. Odds are the electricity wasn't the problem but maybe heavy metals are. If the poly pad turns color then there is metals present in the water.

Thanks. I did notice this morning that the water was a bit cloudy. Is that a sign of heavy metals in the water. Doing a water change now. Don't have any poly but I do have a hang on filter with some carbon I am running. I hope I did not just lose all my lps. The frogspawn does NOT look good, but I'm sure everything shrunk itself to protect itself.. Thanks for the info. I guess we'll see what happens.

Seachem cuprisorb absorbs metals. Maybe a LFS has some in stock.
