Are there any reef safe sharks?

And when I say reef safe I'm not particularly worried about the shark eating inverts, fish etc, I mean the shark having instinct not to swim right into my bubble tip anemones. Anyone know of any?

190 gallons...not enough? And I figured once the shark got to a certain size I would donate it or give it to someone with a bigger tank.

typical reef tanks are not a good environment for any shark

1st of all

Been discussed/discouraged many times. A 'Reef" tank large/spacious enough to also house a shark (black tip?) would be 2K+ gallons and thats prob pushing it.
Donating the animal sounds nice, but it isn't going to happen. Public aquariums have all they need and turn away people on a weekly basis.
If you cannot house an animal for the length of its lifespan, dont get one.

Besides way too small they will eat every other thing you put in there. at least they would leave the coral along

What Sugar Magnolia said. I know I've walked out the LFS convinced that the creature I bought would work without really knowing. Good for the OP for doing his research first.
