Meaning of Lumens per foot

I've been looking at Orphek Royal Blue / True Violet T8 LED Tube
which apparently easily replace a T-5. They give 500 lumens per foot. Is that good? If not, what kind of lumens per foot output should I be looking for? This is for an LPS/softies 90 gal tank.
