Do I need more rock? If so...add live or not?
This rock has been in here for a year or so. This is a 90g with a 30g sump. Think I should add more rock. Does it need to be live rock or not?

I like the minimal amount of rock. If it were me I'd take the rock and make a structure out if it. That way, if you still don't like it, you can add more later.
I don't like hh, so I'd buy dead rock (I like marco rock) or make some yourself. I'd cycle it in a rubbermaid, heater and pump, to avoid any organics decomposing and spurring a mini cycle. HTH |
