Different light for CPR AquaFuge 24?

I run a CPR AquaFuge 24 (Large) on my sump-less 75g tank. I use the recommended CPR AquaFuge light (24" 36w PC) as I recall. But this setup had a huge amount of light spill, so I really can't run a reverse light cycle.

I was considering getting the JBJ Nano Fuge light and attach it to the side. It's LED. So I really don't know if it would be bright enough to grow macro. Any thoughts?

This nano light is exactly what it says; a "NANO" light. It lights up about a 5 inch square space and that's it. Being LED it has no spread whatsoever!
I have the same 'fuge and use a modified home depot desk lamp with a 13 watt cf. bulb on it and it grows cheato very well. I've used this for about 4 yrs. now.
Hope this helps.

Thanks scram42, I was actually thinking just like you given the LED's. But I was not sure about the spread or coverage. I was also thinking about getting perhaps a smaller watt fixture, but I really don't know what. As it would likely still have the same kind of light spill (unless it's a different type of setup.)

Just looking for different ideas!

Maybe? And aim it so it goes through the 'back' side of the CPR AquaFuge 24? Just wondering if it would heat or melt the acrylic this way.
