Custom LED Design
I am currently designing some LED boards to replace my Reeftech Lighting over my 900 gallon tank. I wanted to get some feedback from some of the DIYers on the forum regarding the potential design. I am attempting to get a look as close to a 20k Geissman Metal Halide bulb as I can. Here is the board design I was looking at for up to 18 controllable channels. I am looking for recommendations on led colors and bin numbers to complete the job.
I will be using a combination of Cree XPG and XPE leds. ![]() Any thoughts on the best way to blend the light from each board? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
