hazy/cloudy tank

My water is cloudy but the better way to describe it is that its hazy. I just had a bacterial bloom and this look different. I dont think its a precipitate but i could be wrong. Ca is at 440 and and Alk is 9. I am running carbon and GFO. Would running filter socks help? I dont really know what to do but i would prefer a clearer tank. Any ideas? Thanks guys
