tek light
I have a tek 6x54.The 2 outer bulbs are one switch and the other 4 are on another. The center 4 is only burning 2 bulbs.Turn switch on they all burn for about a couple seconds then 2 go out.I have replaced all bulbs with new ones.If it is a bad ballast, what ballast can I replace it with. Thanks.

Check the bulb connection on the 2nd bulb away from the switch. I have the 6x39 fixture and that bulb sit in that socket funny. I had the same problem when I got my fixture.

I had the same problem with my tek light. It was a ballast issue. Call Reefgeek.com and they will tell you the kind of ballast you need. I believe i replaced mine with a workhorse ballast.
