Yeah, it's hard to tell from the picture, do you have anymore, especially from a different angle?

Looks like some sort of barnacle or fanworm that's living in the coral skeleton. They usually aren't a major problem but keep an eye on it to see if the coral is being irritated by its presence.

That's actually too good of a macro pic to tell

I'd guess barnacle, as well, though, but a bit less macro and the base of it would be easier to tell.

I still say it's a barnacle. However, I see an aiptasia in the 2nd pic off to the right a little.

Yeah, you'll want to kill that. There are several ways, injecting with hot water, kalk paste, lemon juice, Joe's Juice, Aiptasia X, or you can try peppermint shrimp, but they're hit or miss.

I would try the pepermint shrimp. they worked for me.

If you feed your corals, I'd avoid the shrimp. They're nasty little thieves. Aiptasia-x will take out a single anemone with no side effects.
