crosshatch pr together

Has anyone kept these together or will there be war, Tank is 700 gal

get them young/small so the get used to each other.... I have no idea - just a thought...

+1, and i think a pair of crosshatch would make a great addition with no problems, especially in a tank that size

They will do well as long as they are a true pair. I do not know what would happen mixing a random male and female.

Getting small ones is unlikely. I do see pairs for sale periodically.

Just got a male 7 inches really nice can pick up a female but in the past it really been hit and miss trying prs. My last try was a pr of scribble angels, fortunately the male won. Figured Id ask first this time. Just got a camera for xmas now If I can just figure how to use it. Use to be I just had to hit the button

I picked up a 6-7" female first and put her in a 55g QT and after a few days I bought a 7" male. I introduced the male into the QT and he went right after her so I put a divider in the tank for the duration of the QT. He got less aggressive in time, the female hid a lot at first even with the divider.

Introduced the female to the DT first and then the male. They have been fine ever since (it's been over a year now). They even share the same cave to sleep at night.
