Choosing the best skimmer for my new tank build
I have a 245 display ordered along with a 150 gallon rubbermaid tub for sump. I plan on using a 30 or 50 gallon tank for a refugium. I have unlimited room in the 150 tub for a skimmer. I am not sure on what I should order. It will be reef mostly sps with plenty of fish. I want to know what you think.
Options I was thinking of vertex alpha 250 Super Reef Octopus 5000 SKIMZ SK 251 KONE E SERIES SWC 250 1A Xtreme Cone Protein Skimmer I don't want to spend more than $1200ish Performance, ease of cleaning, ease of adjustment, and noise are important Build will go up once I start. Thanks in advanced, Brian |
