Need source for 220v metal halide bulbs

Have a European model light running on a 220 outlet and I need to replace my halides.

Can someone point me to a source?

Thanks.

Is this a non issue?

I believe it will affect the spectrum, life, or par/heat if I use a 110v halide bulb on a 220v circuit/ballast.

Someone that has more knowledge may correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the ballast handles the incoming voltage, whether it is 220V or 110V, and still puts out the same voltage to the lamp, which is in the thousands of volts. So, regular metal halide lamps should work just fine on a 110V or a 220V ballast.

AFAIK MH run on house voltage. The ballast fires the halide by providing a much higher voltage until an arc is struck but once the arc is struck its back down to normal voltage.

The ballast also regulates starting current and operating current.

Edit: It looks like a 220v ballast still outputs something like 130v to the bulb so yes I would agree with the last two posts.

+1 It's all determined by the ballast.
