BRS carbon/gfo reactor
I got the duel reactor from BRS for X-mas and have been using it for 2 weeks now. Around a week ago everything started to get cloudy. Is this normal when first starting to use them or am I doing something wrong?.
Thx |

....sounds like you might not have rinsed your media enought ..... (BTW, you got Tangs and what kind of carbon are you using?)
. ...but thats just the beggining of it...if your experience is like most of the dual media owners, it will start to clog in short order (but I dunno if the new canister mod has fixed this suffciently or not) |

Ya I think I just didnt wash it enough. I turned it off and it cleared up in an hour. Ill take it apart tomorrow and see if I can rinse it a little better. Yes I do have a yellow tang that was given to me by a fellow reefer who was moving. I an using gfo granules and large activated carbon lignate.
Thx for advise. |
