i havent posted an update in a while so here i go. i've lost several of my SPS (mostly all my acros but montis seem to be doing great. not all died, i did trade most of my remaining ones away for other items) and have added several LPS. they just seem tougher.

red aussi acan lord (just noticed a new head growing today! yay!)

another frag of the purplerim green monti (same as i already have. fresh from my friend's tank. color is slowly changing to dark green like my other peice)

some montis

Purple rim green monti (although i dont see much purple rim...)

some neat LPS (ID?)

right side (clam, star polyps and various other items. im considering adding another clam)

front (bottom center is a small neon green branching monti. only had it 1 month and its growing like mad)

close up. cloring up nicely. should be twice as green in another month or so

left (top coral is a monti undata? some sort of monti anyway)

flame (he seems ok but 1 monti in particular seems to have less polyp extension. nipping at it perhars? i have 3 frags of the same coral and all 3 frags have the same issue)

i have a few other items i could post an update but thats the jist of it. i may get a few more acro frags come spring/summer and give them another shot. the original supplier we had sucked. now there's a new reef shop near by which has hardier livestock. stuff tends to survive longer and better if it doesnt have to go through the stress of shipping unless its grade A top notch product to begin with.
comments?

one of the main reasons your acros are not growing is they need a lot more water flow. also when a nem moves around as much as yours has it will sting the acros and kill them.i suggest getting rid of the nem if you are planning on getting any more sps. i read earlier that your salinity is 0.24, i suggest raising that up to 0.25. i would also get rid of the flame angel only because your tank/skimmer are too small to keep its toll on the system in check. other than that your tank looks like it is starting to mature and things will start to be happier. good luck.
