ID this bug
Hey.
Sorry, I don't have a picture (this guy is small and quick!) but here it goes... I have had a bacterial bloom for the last week. It is finally clear, but when it cleared, I noticed a whole bunch of worms (or what I am assuming are worms) all over my rocks. The worms are about 5mm long (if not shorter) and red/white. They have a whole bunch of legs and what looks either like antennae or a filamentous mouth. My star polyp has been very under the weather (borderline dead) since the bacterial bloom, and I had initially correlated this with the bloom, but am now worried that it might be the worms. Any thoughts on what these guys might be and how to get rid of them? Thanks, Jessica |

I tried to get a picture, but they are really too small and fast for anything worthwhile. They look kind of like bristle worms but with antennae or a flagellated mouth. Can I give you more or different descriptors to make my explanation better?
