Enough light for clam?

These are the lights I have, with a 29 gallon tank and I'm wondering if they are enough for a tridacnid clam.6,000K white and 60mW blue LEDs Sunlight and moonlight modes Energy-efficient 1 watt and 60mW LEDs Polycarbonate lens

I wanted to add another question too, how much do clams effect bioavailability? In other words I have 5 fish, a shrimp and a few soft corals in my 29 gallon tank, enough room to add a derasa clam?

A clam should be fine under LED. Also they are pure photosynthetic. They get all their energy from light and do not really have much (if any) bio load on a tank.

Do you have a link to these lights? I cant tell too much about them from your description... But clams really dont take up biodiversity and are more like coral, but a dersa might be too much for a 29g as they can grow! Mine was almost 8" before it died.

You should be fine it will get big though

I don’t know anything about your lights, but a derasa gets pretty big….actually really big! I wouldn’t put one in my 90 because I believe the tank it too small for the clam.

If you go for a clam, take care in maintaining calc, alk and mag. You will notice your calc “consumption” will increase having a clam.
