8 dKH and 550 calc??
Hello everyone. I was thinking with B-Ionic two part and peristaltic pumps, I need to up the alk into the 9-11 range. I posted this over the weekend but since everyone was out watching the Ravens miss a field goal in the last 2 minutes and the Giants pull it out in overtime, I didn't get back on RC before the experts answered back and the answer disappeared into the Internet Heaven past page 5.
Can some one give me an idea? I do a 10-15% water change about once a week or two on the 120 DT. Got the Marineland 300 skimmer, which isn't the strongest or sturdiest, but I "think" it's sufficient, as long as I'm moving the adjustment knob about 3-4 times a week to get the light brown skimmate. P.S. Can i use the word "skimmate" in Scrabble? My wife is an expert and I can REALLY use your help kicking her butt. I need help with the alk readings......that is!!

Lots of equipment left over from the 140 gallon tank teardown. Oct 21st was a sad day. Wife said I would have to get a new wife to get a new tank. I'm sure gonna miss the wife. Current Tank Info: No tank, no fish, no coral :( |

I am using Brightwell Reef Code A & B seems to work great at keeping all the levels in check.
