tank stand question.

So I had my lfs build me a tank stand for a 150 gallon tank (5x2x2) and was just curious to know if it was safe with an open top? It has an open top to put the sump in...

I don't want my tank to crack because of the pressure.

If the tank going on it has a traditional rim/strip/frame around the bottom panel, then yes this is perfectly normal. Such tanks cast all their weight on the perimeter of the stand.
