protein skimmer?

What's a good in sump skimmer for a 40 breeder (mixed reef, lightly stocked 4 maybe 5 fish) im on a budget (girlfriend that would get ****ed if I spent a crazy amount of money) as long as it dosent sound like a jet engine its good.

reef octopus skimmers are a good skimmer if you have a tight budget. buying used will also save you a ton of cash.

I was thinking around 100-150, I've heard this is something u really don't wanna skimp on cause u get what u pay for.

Bubble Magus NAC 3+ is in your budget.

I have a NAC 3.5 and a NAC 9. Both are excellent skimmers for their price.

The Eshopps cone's are a great skimmer for that budget. An S-120 will fit the bill perfect.

I have a Reef Oct nwb110 on my 40 breeder and works great. Got it from Marine Depot for $150.
