Supplemental VHO with 400W Halides
I'm going to be installing 3x400w halides over my 210 gallon tank soon. They will be Lumenbright reflectors running XM 10k bulbs from PFO ballasts.
I'd like to supplement with VHO to add some actinic back in, but I'm concerned it won't even be visible under the 400w bulbs. What would folks recommend? Thanks!

i run VHO's with my 400W lights, although i do run 20K XM's.
the super actinic is nice, but i really like the UVL-454. it brings out the reds and deep purples, while the super actinic gets the greens and other blues. dont do actinic white (its a 10 k bulb) and the pac sun (or what ever its called makes everythign red.... ) thats what i like, and i know there arnt a lot of VHO's out there, but i would deff go with those.

Thanks for the feedback. I need to modify my hood to get the halides in, and then I need to see how much room I have left for tubes. If I can run 4 x 4 foot, I will, otherwise it will be 2x5 foot.
