Octopus Skimmer acting strange lately

I have a almost 3 yr old Octo NWB 150 skimmer and its acting strange. I am noticing that I am always having to adjust where the top of the bubbles are. These are minor adjustments.

Haven't touched it for a couple weeks, checked on it last night and it was fine. This morning I check and the cup is overflowing all over the floor.

What do you think? My water level is not fluctuating that much to warrant that big of a change. Thoughts?

The best course of action for a grumpy skimmer is a good cleaning. Run it in vinegar for a day and give it a good cleaning. Should help bring back some consistency.
