Sump down!

Well I removed my sump to give it a good cleaning and I wanted to drill it. I do not have access to a glass hole saw but my LFS will do it for me and they are open tomorrow. Do you see a problem leaving my sump offline for a day? Wont just the live rock and my MP40 keep everything happy in there till I can get it back up tomorrow?

It will be fine. That's technically the way a lot of the older tanks would be run. No sump or refuge. Simply LR, sand and fish! Just make sure you got water movement in the tank and maybe skip a feeding till you get it back up.

One day? No worries. I went sumpless/skimmerless on my 150 SPS tank for 3 weeks as I was slowly breaking it down to make way for my new 195 coming in February.

I wouldn't sweat it either... for a period of just one day, you'll be fine.

It'll be fine, just move your heater to the DT. If you run a calcium reactor or bio-pellets, I'd keep it running from the DT as well.

I have just recently started dosing vodka. Should I just wait to dose tomorrow untill the sump is up and running again or just miss one day? I normally dose in the morning.

I'd just continue dosing as scheduled.
