My Sailfin Tang ate Glue....

Okay, so my giant 10" sailfin apparently picked at a freshly glued frag, and now has a decent wad of Corrafix glue stuck to her lower lip. It is not inhibiting her eating or anything, as she still rips algae sheets apart (I just tried) and doesn't seem to be too disturbed by it. Should I go through the large task of getting her out and trying to remove it? or do you think that over the course of her grazing she'll eventually break it free/wear it down enough to no longer notice? She's big so she can exert a lot of force....

All input is appreciated, thanks!

if she is eating, I dont see an issue with it. I feel that time would fix this problem

Okay, thanks for the input. I do as well... As I said she is acting perfectly normal and eating with gusto, it just looks sorta odd.

Yeah my melanarus wrasse did the same thing and he eventually got rid of it in less than 2hrs. I was worried too. If he is eating let it ride.

Okay, cool. Glad to hear that... She's had it for a few hours now, but yep, continuing to eat and even graze from the rocks!

Lol a friend lunar wrasse knocked a frag that we just glued down and his powder blue grab it and glued sand to his mouth. Took a day or so for he got it off by rubbing on rocks.

Yeah, not the first time I've heard of something like this, it will wear off.

That happened to a yellow tang of mine, except its mouth was glued shut! It fell of after a day so no harm done, but I was pretty worried about it.

my curious lawnmower blenny decided to check out a newly superglued frag and the whole frag, got stuck to its mouth and it was swimming around for a good 10 minutes with a frag attached to it. my kids were freaking out and screaming in the house. the frag just fell off and fish is just fine.

Thanks for all the input everyone! I'm not too worried any longer.

About half of it has fallen off and she's still eating and grazing voraciously. I was about ready to get her out and perform "surgery!" Haha! I thought I'd post here first since I thought it must have happened before...
