Anyone else have a love/hate relationship with clowns and turbos?

If it's not my turbos knocking down everything it's my clown causing a sand storm every night at 6pm on the dot. The clown is tempting fate as he has hollowed out a base rock holing a huge pile above that stacks to the waters surface. One day I'm convinced the whole house is coming down. My morning ritual is breaking out the turkey baster and blowing the sand off everything. sux

My old clown did the same thing. Was sleeping on a glass floor eventually. The reason I'm building my new tank without a DSB and placing my rock on the glass below the sand level is because of that maroon clown.

Mine cleans the sand away from the anemone, so doubt it will help. It's a nautral behavior that I doubt could be stopped.

None of my clowns are much of diggers(2 clarki,2 perc, and a maroon)but my percs are pretty agressive. My black one is a nipper attacking my hand every time I put it in the tank and the orange one is arch enemies with my fish net.

My goldstripe maroon did the same exact thing, except ALL DAY, EVERY DAY! It got to the point where I had to rehome her. My cinnamon clown would also nip at my hand everytime it went in the tank. Now I'm down to one occelaris who is very peaceful.

LOL my clowns do the same thing in the front corner of the tank. I just leave it alone at this point. Bare glass in that corner. I want to put an anemone there but my tank is to young at this point. only 5 months old.
