120 sump question

I have my whole sump layout planned and figured out just dont know how big of a pump I am going to need. The tank is 4x2x2 and I have a mag 12. Do i need a bigger pump or will the mag 12 be fine?

Thank you Cameron

i run a mag 9.5 on mine and it works perfects i would think a mag 12 would work if its too much u can always block it off.

I also have a mag 9.5 on my 90 gal. I wish i had a little more flow so im sure the mag 12 would be perfect!

I run a Mag 12 on my 120. I have it dialed back just a little, but will be nice to have once I re-plumb to run my reactors and turn the refugium. I would purchase the mag 12 and then T -off the return with a ball valve going back to the skimmer section. Works better than restricting the pump and adding unwanted stress.
