mp-10 w or without wireless?

Hi an LFS owner convinced me that I would regret not buying the mp-10 with wireless, so I dropped another $50 more for an already expensive pump. Ok, I love this pump, and I will soon get another for my 60 gallon cube. I have my mp-10 set to long pulse and I don't want wave just a good overall flow. So IYE, in my case is it worth it to pay once again $50 more for the wireless? At the moment, I feel not in my case and that I was pressured during my first purchase for the more expensive wireless version. Thanks

from what i understand you only need wireless if you have the radion led lights or if you have 2 or more mp-10s so they work together

It all depends on you, I have two mp4 wireless and i have never sync them, I have them on lagoon full blast, going on two years now I believe, looking very good. Some people buy them for the wireless capability of sync .

I have the radion, but in a tank so small, I just don't see the need to sync everything up. If anyone can tell me a good example, I'm all ears. Otherwise I'll just get a second mp-10 without the "W"

If you already bought one mp10 that was wireless you might as well buy the other with wireless or you wasted money buying the first one.

i think they are worth it. i mean why not get the wireless setup if they offer it. why limit your self to grow. you never know you might want to buy another one or two and synch em up. and hey you might want a nice led setup to go with your pumps and have them all talk to each other. idk i personally think its a great feature but some might see it as just a gimmick. it all comes down to you; after all its your tank and money.

You can add it later. $45

RF Module for EcoSmart Drivers

If your going to have two pumps it is best to go ahead and get the one with wireless.

You also want wireless if your going to control it with an Apex or Profilux controller.

DrParker hit the nail on the head...The place I get the most use out of the wireless is with my Apex. By adding the WXM to the mix you can program your MP's to change the mode you are in throughout the day. It really creates nice random flow and keep the tank happy...
