Help with a Wrasse...
So... I just bought 3 different Wrasses for my 125 G. Added all 3 yesterday,
Black tail wrasse Flasher mccosker wrasse Yellow wrasse The Black Tail was out and about right away, the Yellow and Flasher hid immediately. This morning when the lights came on both the Black tail and flasher where out swimming around and eating. But couldn't find the Yellow one still. When I got home from work the Yellow was out with the Black tail, but the flasher was swimming up in the corner with his nose at the top of the tank like he wanted a place with no flow. I flushed him out (could have been a bad idea) and made him swim around a bit, but he just hid himself under a rock right in the corner and is just hiding/laying there. He doesn't seem to be doing well but all my water parameters are great, and the other two wrasses are all doing great too. Does anyone have any advice?? THANKS!! |

Wrasses tend to be fairly shy when first introduced to a new tank. Give them some time to adjust, they'll be out once they are comfortable with their new home.

My bird wrasse is still pretty skittish and he has been here for 3 or 4 weeks now. Leave hm alone and let him get used to his newest home. He should be fine.
