Kole Tang injured, seeking opinions

Today my wife was looking at our tank and she witnessed one of our Emerald crabs run out of some rock work and literally grab onto our large Kole Tang. As you can see from the pictures, the Tang is not doing well at all and when my wife tried to get the crab off the Tang, it would not let go. The Tang is currently in a hospital tank and I am curious where you guys would go with this. It's not looking good. I attached a picture of the culprit, as well (who is no longer with us....).

Wow that sucks! Poor Kole, I never thought a small emerald crab could do that much damage.

Sorry about that! Hope the Kole pulls through.

This is a perfect example of why I stopped keeping ANY kind of crab in my display tank. Crabs are opportunistic feeders and will eat whatever they can get a hold of....

He is a goner, the crab would never be able to catch a healthy Kole tang. Sorry about that.

The crab did indeed catch him, it was right before the lights came on and he was still down on the lower end of the tank. Regardless, he did die about two hours ago. Thanks for the help.
