To frag or not to frag.
I have a number of ricordeas and discosoma I am thinking about fragging. I am wondering, would the corals natural reproduction be optimum or would fragging them be optimum? I am looking to grow them at the fastest rate possible. Thanks

Discoma's should grow fast on their own.
Ricordia I personally find grow faster when you propagate. |

when fragging rics i like to just cut them off the rock they are growing on and have two instead of actually cutting them like a pizza. ive found when i cut my pnk yuma rics that they get really small and tak ea long time to heal

I would just try it with one at first and see how well they react to fragging. All ricordias are different and you have to figure out how yours will handle it.

Ive noticed that my ricodeas in lower lighting heal and divide quicker than those in higher lighting, even tho those in higher lighting often look better.
