If the Blue Ridge coral is made up of Iron could this be leaching back into the water and have an effect on the system, One coral was about 12” tall and about 10” across the other on was about 8” tall and 6” across and very dense in weight, there are signs to edges that there are turning white
One more thing I don’t know if this means anything the phosphate and nitrate levels was always nil |

Supposedly most algae loves iron, so I wouldn't think the algae would be dying if that were the case.

there was a growth of nuisance algae over some of the rock but on the blue ridge rock there was a strange algae growing on it that was Florissant green in colour it only grow on that piece of live rock
In the refugium sump there were a lot more nuisance algae growing every were killing the good algae with no Phosphate or nitrate |

I have a very large piece of rock like that in my tank. I had some things die initially (snails and shrimp I think I didn't acclimate well enough) but the other fish, shrimp, crabs, and snails are doing well now for a month. The only major issue I had is pretty much all coraline died off.
You said damsels died, were there more than one in the tank at the same time? |

Several people have asked for your test results. The reason is that some test result you think is "normal" might not be normal.
