API test tube ml.

My Grandson knocked my test tray off the counter and broke all my test tubes. Does anyone have an API test kit that they can measure the ml. to the mark on the test tube, and let me know so I can continue to use the test? It would be greatly appreciated.
Carolyn

The marks on the API test tubes are not reliable. I always use a syringe to put 5 ml in the tubes. Easier than trying to get the water on the line anyway.

You can get free syringes at CVS, just ask at the pharmacy counter.

The line is marked 5mL, but it is actually less. I use the line on the tube, not actually 5 mL because I would hope they are calibrated to run with the tubes they provide...

API's are 5ml each test tube. I would just get a syringe and use any kind of tube or really small container to do tests in. how bout a syringe and a shot glass.

I have a small medicine cup about 30ml total so it will work until I can get to LFS - they sell API & spare test tubes for $1. ea. Thanks
