Light Timer
Anyone able to reccomend a good lighting timer? I'm looking for something that can time all 3 stages of light.

If you don't have a controller to control your lights I would recommend this:

IF you dont have a controler, why would you spend 240 on that?....
Get a entry level controler. |

I see what your saying... I understood his question to be more about controling lighting cycles with the timer and the Profilux Light bar is the only one I know of. He he just wants just on/off get a regular light timer from Home Depot.

Briggs, a Reefkeeper Lite controller can be had for about $120. It will take care of your lights, heater, fans and much much more. One of the best investments you can make.
Or you can buy 2-3 mechanical timers for $15 each plus a $20 power strip for them ... ... and wind up buying a controller next year, like I did. |

zach I actually spent more than that now that I think about it.
I spent another $40 on this DIY- thermostat thingy to turn a fan on when the ROOM got hot. I had bought at least three timers, this thermostat-thingy, a couple powerstrips and who knows HOW many trips to Lowes before I bought my RKL. And they were only $100 back then! Yep. That's how stupid I am. |
