can i put my thermometers in my sump? and can i use dish scrubbers instead of bio balls?

not sure on that one...many dish scrubbers have anit-bacterial agents on them...These scrubbers should be avoided (they will kill off bacteria that your tank needs to survive)

Yeah it fine to have a heater in the sump. on the dish scrubbers i have no clue

the dish scrubbers are fine if they are the plastic ones and dont have anything added. I use them on my freshwater tank in my canister filter. It is ok to put a thermometer in the sump, just be warned that your return pump can suck it in and break it. My eheim 1262 broke a glass thermometer in my sump, the only reason i knew was because my water level in my sump was rising and my pump was really loud

lol, a thermometer is a device for measuring temperature guys...not a heater
