we need more than that to give you help. A picture, what he looks like, habitats, tank size, how long has the tank been running, what are the water parameters all of these will help. A picture is worth a 1000 words in this case. A heavy breathing fish can be anything

it doesnt look like ick. Ick has more pronounced white spots. But there also doesnt look anything wrong minus some missing fins. Wanna answer the rest of the questions. Water params, size of tank, set up, how many fish corals etc, how long it has been running

Thanks for the Help Waddleboy.

I just checked on him again and he passed... Completely on his side and no Gill movement.

Im just so confused on what happend and want to make sure whatever he had that my other fish dont get it. He was swimming around fine this morning. Do you think he might have gotten into a tussle with the Foxface and got stuck by his fins?

maybe flukes? or some bacterial infection but shows no symptoms... i would definitely start with hypo treatments as this will help with breathing and treat flukes if its flukes. Bacterial get a broad base ab

oh sorry to hear that. it sucks i lost 4 fish in 36 hours that were swimming and eating fine and they just all died one after another. I would keep an eye on the fish and as soon as you see anything i would try to treat them.

My advice is to watch others closely and not add anything to the tank and keep feelings to what they eat right away. Hopefully was just a fluke or something not 100% controllable but best to play it safe.

Yea nothing more will be going into the tank for quite awhile. This is pretty upsetting for me. Couldn't have asked for a better fish honestly. He was Gorgeous and was VERY helpful in the tank. Was always picking at rocks keeping them clean. He will be missed

Update.

Took the fish and a Water sample into my LFS. They said my water parameters looked great and said the fish looked to be healthy as well. They think what might have happened was Cyanid Poisoning from when the fish was captured. They try not to buy these kinds of captured fish but from time to time they do get them. They gave me a credit for another Kole when they get one in. I will be waiting a few weeks before I decide to get one though.

Thanks again for all of the help.
