Coral ID please

Trying to figure out this coral we picked up a few weeks ago. I was told it was a montipora but doesn't look like any monti I have seen. Thanks for any help with the ID. Sorry for the crappy pic's from my phone.

It looks a little more like a chalice to me. Montiporas tend to have smaller "eyes"

I was thinking the same thing. At night it has sweepers that are about 4 inches long, I have never seen sweeper tent's on any of my monti's.

Definitely a designer chalice coral, moons over miami or mummy's eye etc. I will say it is very beautiful & healthy looking, how much was it if you don't mind me asking?

$40 sold as a monti. The pic doesn't do it justice but it is pink mint green eyes. about 3 inches in diameter.

WOW, nice job, you stole that one, Montipora, either plating, encrusting or digitata do not have "eyes" like that, just uniform polyps. Well done again, sometimes those Chalice frags are $25 per eye or more.

Look up "alien eyes" and "hollywood stunner" chalice; it's one of those two, I think.
