and welcome to the real deal. you will never look back on freshwater. i know i wont. unless someone gives me a 400+ gallon tang for sting rays or something.... hehe

That octopus works alright. That's actually on the list of things to replace, for now it pulls its weight. I have a 75gpd brs rodi I use. I pull 0 tds so that's all that really matters. Started with instant ocean reef crystals, just switched to red sea coral pro for salt. My parameters stay solid without dosing for now with weekly 15% water changes.

I've caught him nibbling at my acan and xmas favia. Doesn't touch the hammers or sps. I might be getting rid of him just for that reason.

nice setup seems like you did everything right the first time, instead of rushing into it and then upgrading later on.
