ai sol leds any good

hi guys just aquick question from over the water. Any one using ai sols over a 4ft tank, if so how many and at what intensities your running them at. Have had mine for 5 months now and cant seem to decide if my corals are growing or not, unlike when i had ati t5s over them. also ive lost a couple of birds nests all my parameters are ok many thanks

You probably need 4. How many are you running? Can you give your tank dimensions?

You need 3 or 4 to get good coverage. Most people have good results with AI sol LED, however usually they hang them 12" above water and have more units then recomended by manufacturer.

Two mounted end to end (with some spread of course) with the 70 degree lenses should be good. Otherwise 3 mounted front to back style should work with the standard lenses. You can order the lenses from AI's webpage and supposedly swap them out in five minutes (I was told by AI).

i had 3 on my 48x24x24. i had them 11" above water line and all with 70 degree optics.
