Chiller Question

Hello all,

I had bought a chiller around 8 to 10 years ago, while collecting equipment for a 90 gallon setup. Well, I ended up putting everything into storage, do to moving and having kids.

I now have it set up, and it's starting to warm up in my area.

I plumbed in the chiller and fired it up. I still had the manual, but the system is not working correctly and will not program. It is out of warranty and I cannot find it on their website. It is a red sea chiller I'm not sure if they even have them made any longer.

I was hopeing to find someone on the site that has one of these chillers. If so maybe they might be able to help me trouble shoot this thing.

I would have put this in a equipment forum. I didn't find one on RC.

Cheers

Chris

Take it to an a/c serve repair place and have it checked out. If you can find one that works on cold water chillers that would be better. After all those years it may need a servicing and a re-charge.

chiller

I found the website for the manufacture of the controller and downloaded their manual. It was in Child proof mode and needed unlocked. The red sea manual that came with the system did not explain how to unlock it very easily.

The unit runs cold It's just a little big for my system.

Thanks for the responses

cheers
