Please help: Ranco controller won't power heater
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I bought a ranco single stage controller. I wanted it to run my eheim heater and keep things a little more precise. Anyhow, I have checked to make sure it is wired correctly, and from everything I can find, it is. I have it plugged in, and it is receiving power, and can be programmed. I have me heater turned up all the way as to not have the built in thermostat interfere. There is something wrong though. I can not get it to click on and power my heater. I have changed the settings several times trying to test it out. It is reading my water temp at 77 degrees F. I have tried pumping it up over 100 and it still doesn't turn the heater on. I event tried pluggin in a fan, and a lamp, and neither of those power up either. The heater turns on fine with plugged in directly. Did I get a bad controller, or is there something else I can try? |

Can you post a pic of how you wired it up?
