Heater Controller

I am in need of a Controller that can run 1000 to 1500 watts of heaters. Anyone know of one that can handle it?

I am looking at the first one here
http://www.jehmco.com/html/temperature_controller.html

Is it any good?

Reef Keeper Lite, and it will do a lot more than control the heater.

neptune systems from what i hear has good controllers, im hoping to get one this summer, that way you can controll heating/cooling and have and still have the ability to expand with out having to buy additional controllers,

i belive neptune controllers even have moon cycles programmed in

For the price what you linked will likely be the best option. It looks like the typical Ranco temperature controller that everyone raves about. Here is another link of the same product, it doesn't say the power rating in wattage, but you can figure that out by multiplying the amperage by the voltage, in this case 16amps x 120v = 1920w.

Thanks everyone, I just need to control my heat, I am not interested in anything else at this time.

ludnix, that looks like the best controller for me.

I ended up getting a
Ranco ETC-111000-000 Prewired Digital Temperature Controller (ETC-111000-000W) Wire Gauge 14ga w/Power Strip (15Amps/1800 Watts)

How often should you change the probe? Is once a year good or should I go every few years.

make sure you seal the probe in something (vinyl tube, heat shrink, silicone)to protect the probe from the salt water

I found some 2" long clear that I overlapped and used 4 of them so for now I have 6" of the probe in the water.

I am hoping I can get a straight answer from someone with experience, with heat shrink tubing . I have a mag drive pump that the outer insulation of the power cord is cracked on, but the inside insulation is not damaged yet. Just wondering if I can use heat shrink tubing to stop from further cracking the outer insulation, and to prevent the inner insulation from wearing also.
the crack is right were the power cord exits the pump housing so it will be submerged. just want to make sure heat shrink is reef safe before going ahead with this repair.
thanks for any reply's
Jesse
